# Sectoral Implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)

This publication is part of a GIZ briefing series of NDC sectoral overviews, which provide information about current sectoral contributions to global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and prospects for implementing NDCs in these sectors. This paper presents the current situation and prospects for implementation of NDCs with a focus on solid waste management and circular economy. It outlines sources of GHG emissions, mitigation options as well as related policy and implementation measures.
