Working at Perspectives Climate Group allows me to follow closely the advancement of carbon markets and have an impact on developing high quality standards.

Lena Gründel holds a Master‘s Degree in International Economics and Public Policy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Law and Social Science. Prior to joining Perspectives in 2023 she has been working on GHG accounting, the development of climate strategies and has analysed the advancements in the voluntary carbon market for internal and client purposes. She has focused on examining market developments under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and the demand for offsets of higher quality and integrity.

Lena is an experienced sustainability consultant with focus on voluntary carbon markets, carbon accounting and decarbonization strategies.

Lena has profound experience in the area of sustainability consulting with a focus on accounting for corporate and product carbon footprints in a wide range of sectors. At Perspectives, she currently works as a Consultant, focusing on projects related to voluntary carbon markets and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.

To achieve long-term net-zero emissions it is very important to align the climate targets of a company (or a country) with the 1.5-degree goal. Setting science-based targets can help to develop meaningful, ambitious and yet achievable climate targets. The Science-based target initiative (SBTi) provides helpful guidelines how to set these targets. We can help you to set your science-based targets and get them approved by SBTi.
