The main goal of the project was to provide evaluation of project proposals for the call on IKI small grants. Initial training for the reviewers was conducted after which the first phase of evaluation required shortlisting the 80 high quality applications which were then reduced to 30 in the second phase. The last phase of the evaluations included extensive quality assurance, technical meetings for final proposals which were selected to be granted the IKI grants.
Perspectives was evaluating projects linked to climate change adaptation. The specific tasks carried out were: •participation in an online training for reviewers as well as in briefings, selection rounds for the creation of the longlist and shortlist and coordination meetings between the reviewers. •independent full evaluation of project proposals according to IKI Small Grants review criteria in the pre-selection and selection phase. •documentation of the evaluation in a corresponding online Excel form (evaluation tools), including improving evaluation texts and development of short descriptions of the selected proposals.
