Ingrid Wawrzynowicz holds a MSc degree in Biology from the University of Hamburg. During her academic career, she focused on sustainable agriculture and wrote her master’s thesis on Intercropping. She then gained experience in development cooperation and worked as a Research Analyst on agriculture, forestry and coastal protection. Before joining Perspectives, she supported Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the sector project rural development, where she focused on sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, ecosystem-based adaptation, and agroecology.

Ingrid has been supporting the Nature-based solutions team in the fields of agriculture, forestry and blue carbon.

Since joining Perspectives, Inga focusses on nature-based solutions, carbon markets, Article 6 and adaptation.
She is experienced in both, the public and the private sector. During her time at Perspectives, she provided advise on: environmental integrity criteria, Article 6 readiness, negotiations and country strategies, offsetting claims and biodiversity protection
