Sandra Dalfiume holds an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg, Germany, with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Sandra also holds a law degree from Universidad del Pacifico, Peru and has a Diploma on interculturality and Amazon Indigenous People rights from Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya, Peru. Between 2014 and 2018, she worked at Conservation International- Peru as an environmental policy coordinator, advising and working on projects mainly related to REDD+, social and environmental safeguards, grievance mechanisms, and Indigenous Peoples’ rights.

Since November 2020, Sandra has been working for Perspectives Climate Group in the intersection of carbon markets, Article 6, and nature-based solutions. She advises private and public clients on topics pertaining to her field of expertise in Spanish and English.

Sandra has been involved in conducting pre(feasibility) studies and due diligence assignments analysing the viability of developing nature-based carbon projects (e.g., REDD+, A/R), assessment of co-benefits, as well as supporting governments in their Article 6 readiness efforts (e.g., additionality tools, positive list) with a particular focus on land use change activities.
