Ziqun Jia holds a M.Sc in Environmental Policy and Economics from Peking University and B.A. degree in International Politics from Nanjing University. Her studies have equipped her with an interdisciplinary perspective on climate, sustainability, policy and economics. Before joining Perspectives, she has worked with the World Economic Forum and World Resources Institute in Beijing, where she was involved in research on climate policy, natural capital, energy finance and sustainable supply chain.
At Perspectives, Ziqun contributes to research on international climate finance and energy transition finance with a data-driven approach.
Her areas of interest include innovative financial instruments for mobilising climate finance and facilitating the transition of financial flows away from fossil fuels. She has recently worked on projects relating to the alignment of export finance with climate goals, synergies between development finance and export finance, as well as adaptation assessment. She is fluent in English and Chinese.
