Aayushi Singh holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Mannheim and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. During her academic training, she focused on topics such as environmental economics, international trade, and development economics. Aayushi has previously interned at ZEW – Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung, where she supported research projects in the field of environmental economics particularly pertaining to the analysis of the European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (E-PRTR).
Aayushi supports Perspectives' leading business areas Carbon Market Design and UNFCCC Negotiation Support since joining Perspectives in 2020.
She has contributed to the successful delivery of climate policy projects on key thematic areas such as Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, VCM, Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), CDM, sustainable development, and capacity building for both public- and private-sector clients based in Europe, South Asia, East Asia, Middle East, East Africa, and West Africa. She is also responsible for the coverage of multiple UNFCCC-level negotiations on Article 6 and the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF).
