The overall objective of the project was to design and implement a green credit line for the Grenada Development Bank that promotes the dissemination of climate-smart solutions including RE/EE technologies to contribute to the mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
Project Overview
Perspectives was performing the work in close cooperation with national experts from the Grenada Development Bank (GDB) and under the supervision of the Multilateral Investment Fund (FOMIN). The specific tasks Perspectives carried out were:- Design of a climate risks assessing tool for the GDB aiming at assessing the climate risks of current portfolio and future clients.- Capacity building of the GDB staff on assessing climate risks.- Mission to the country to present and discuss the tool with the stakeholders.- Support in assessing and formulating recommendations for the green policy of the GDB
