The main goal of the project was to support Viet Nam on carbon market development under the Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. Our expert worked with a national firm to undertake a study to assess the applicability of carbon projects under the requirement of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and Viet Nam NDC contribution and the suggested procedure and criteria for transition, and selection of projects to contribute to Viet Nam NDC.
Perspectives provided technical inputs in various deliverables and led the completion of two specific deliverables, which were the following: 1) Assessment of requirements for the implementation of Article 6 of the PA and applicable international experience for Viet Nam; 2) Policy brief on assessment and proposed mechanism for the LULUCF sector.
