Project Overview
In collaboration with The Stanley Foundation, Perspectives has designed, prepared and executed a 3-day expert workshop on questions of governance design of emerging climate engineering technology concepts. The assignment included the preparation of a pre-workshop guidance note, which introduced an innovative structure for differentiating five different governance areas in order to guide the workshop and the emerging discourse on governance of climate engineering. Workshop results were edited into a policy briefing paper presenting a number of recommendations for further steps in order to advance adequate governance of climate engineering in an international setting and a collaborative and constructive spirit.
