Development of NAMA Support Project (NSP) concept notes

The main goal of the project was to provide support to GIZ in the elaboration of project outlines for submission to the Mitigation Action Facility. At the concept stage, Perspectives supported the development of GIZ's project concepts and the internal selection process of concepts submitted by GIZ country teams. Following the concept stage, support was provided for preparing project outlines, which included reviewing existing and relevant sectoral information, identifying and proposing outputs and activities to amplify the potential for transformational change, proposing options and reviewing the technical and financial support mechanisms, elaboration and review of the key outline sections and annexes, and discussing the first drafts of the project outlines.For successful implementation of the assignment, a close cooperation with the GIZ focal point and other Stakeholders relevant for the NSPs (e.g. GIZ country offices, consultants, etc.) was ensured throughout the project.
