Carbon Market Implementation
We take carbon market activities from first idea to issued credit: feasibility and scoping, methodology development, design, validation, registration to issuance, and the MRV that carries a project through verification and issuance. Across the Voluntary Carbon Market, Article 6 and compliance schemes, environmental integrity is the non-negotiable, and we never invest in or trade credits ourselves.
We design, develop and implement market-based instruments, nationally and internationally, to drive emission reductions and removals. One thing we never do: invest in or trade carbon credits. Our advice stays independent and free from conflicts of interest.
- 01 Feasibility
- 02 Methodology
- 03 Design & registration
- 04 MRV & issuance
Due diligence, assurance and capacity building support every stage, and our Policy team covers the host country frameworks around them.
01Feasibility and scoping studies
You know whether and where a carbon market pathway is viable before committing resources, and which questions to resolve first.
- Carbon market eligibility screening
- Emission reduction and removal quantification
- Additionality screening
- Host country readiness
- Monetisation pathways
Project developers (private sector) · Governments and development agencies · e.g. IPPs, DFIs, National climate agencies
02Methodology development
Your activity type has the approved methodology it needs, whether newly drafted or transitioned from a legacy CDM methodology to meet Article 6.4 and PACM requirements.
- New methodology drafting, from concept note or MIN to full draft
- Methodology validation support
- Transition of legacy CDM methodologies to Article 6.4
Carbon standards bodies · Project developers · National governments · e.g. UNFCCC Supervisory Body, Verra, Gold Standard
03Design, validation and registration
You navigate complex design, validation and registration requirements with confidence, under the Voluntary Carbon Market or Article 6.
- PDD and PoA-DD development (VCM and Article 6.4)
- MAIN and MADD development (Article 6.2)
- Stakeholder consultation and DOE selection
- Validation and host country coordination
- Authorisation and corresponding-adjustment advisory
- Bilateral agreement support and registration package review
Project developers · Third-party VVBs and DOEs · Carbon crediting programmes · Host country governments · Bilateral cooperation partners · e.g. National DNAs, Bilateral cooperation programmes
04Monitoring, verification and issuance
Your registered project keeps compliant MRV, prepares defensible monitoring reports, and moves smoothly through verification and issuance.
- MRV system set-up and alignment
- Monitoring data QA and QC
- Monitoring report preparation
- DOE selection and verification support
- Credit issuance support (VCM and Article 6.4ER)
Project developers and operators in the post-registration phase · e.g. Renewable energy operators, Cookstove programme managers, REDD+ proponents
05Due diligence, assurance and capacity building
You have independent integrity assurance before purchasing or investing, and the structured knowledge to engage in carbon markets.
- High-level and detailed technical due diligence
- Audit and assurance support
- Article 6 and VCM capacity building
- National carbon market system design
Investors and offtakers · Project developers · Governments and national institutions · e.g. Carbon credit buyers, DFIs, Ministries of environment
Hands-on delivery across the full carbon market project cycle: feasibility and scoping, methodology development and validation, activity design and registration under the Voluntary Carbon Market and/or Article 6, and the monitoring, verification and issuance work that turns registered activities into credible credits. Independent due diligence and capacity building support investors, developers and governments at every step.
