Local Implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
Delivered for United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
The assignment
The main goal of this project was to support Palestine in the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. This was achieved through the development of an action plan for a National Carbon Market Platform - a national platform intended to define potential Art.6 priority sectors and activities, host information on prospective ITMO prices, detail the local institutional framework, as well as support a capacity building program to enable implementation of Article 6 in Palestine.
