Supporting initial authorisations under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement

The project's main goal was to support GSF's Article 6 Early Movers Programm by demonstrating proof-of-concept of the application of Article 6.2 and to generate knowledge and information to support Article 6 application by other actors. 2-4 suitable project developers where identified following predefined criteria and subsequently supported in acquiring Article 6 authorisation from their respective host governments. A report on experiences and best-practices was created to guide and inform future engagement between project developers and host country authorities with the goal of Article 6 autorisation.
