Net-Zero Emissions Zurich: Negative emissions and certificate trading: potential, costs and possible courses of action
This (German language) report commissioned by the city and Kanton of Zurich seeks to build a basis for the political planning and implementation of sub-national net-zero emissions objectives in the case of Zurich. Part 1 offers initial overview of NETs that could possibly be implemented in Zurich, including an assessment of their mitigation potential and any associated costs. Part 2 explores the challenging role of offsetting toward net-zero.
