Perspectives were performing the work in close cooperation with the GIZ focal points and other stakeholders relevant to the NSPs (e.g. GIZ country offices, consultants, etc.). The specific tasks Perspectives carried out were:• At the concept stage, supporting the ideation and concept development;• Supporting the evaluation of GIZ’s project concepts submitted at the concept stage, including the development of the evaluation sheet and conducting pre-check;• Supporting the preparation of project concepts into project outlines;• Conducting desk review for GIZ’s existing studies and relevant general sector information;• Reviewing the project concept to address specific aspects, such as barrier analysis, regulatory measures, financial mechanisms, technology shifts, capacity building, and project rationale and impact chain;• Identifying and proposing outputs and activities in the outlines to amplify the potential for transformational change, specifically with a view to selected sectors and countries;• Proposing technical and financial support mechanisms options and possible regulations;• Supporting GIZ in the elaboration and review of the key project outline sections and Annexes, incl. support elaboration of logframe (impact, outcome, outputs and indicators), review of the underlying assumptions, baseline, and methodology of financial mechanism, business case, and GHG mitigation potential;• Deliver a half-day workshop in collaboration with GIZ on critical elements of the draft NSP outline.
