This concept note was developed by a team of international carbon market methodology experts in the context of the “International Initiative for Development of Article 6 Methodology Tools”. The concept note describes methodological steps to be developed to ensure activities authorized under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement contribute to host countries´ NDCs and, if submitted, LT-LEDS. The concept notes lays out how guidance can be developed to support host country institutions’ decision making on activity authorization.
