Perspectives was performing the work in close cooperation with national implementing partners from different countries and under the supervision of the West African Development Bank. The specific tasks Perspectives carried out were: – Contribution to Alliance workshops through the presentation of carbon market expert advice. Lead in the delivery of technical reports in coordination with the Steering Committee of the Alliance to build a knowledge basis for national carbon market integration under Article 6.- Support in the development of a guidebook on coordinating and structuring domestic Article 6 processes.- Support the delivery of briefings that communicate the opportunities of utilizing carbon markets for national low emission development.- Participation in the evaluation of proposals for the six national readiness platforms.- Conduct national assessments and consultations in selected countries, and develop activities to support the implementation of carbon markets. – Development and delivery of three national or sub-sub regional stakeholder workshops. -Participation in carbon market conferences and twelve Alliance member meetings – Ad-hoc support request from member countries allocated to them by the Alliance secretariat.
