Alicia Schmid has built the foundation of her career in accelerating climate solutions by leading projects to foster Public-Private-Partnerships in various sectors crucial for decarbonization efforts globally (e.g., energy, buildings, transport, and industry). Additionally she is experienced in fostering cross-sector collaboration by convening key stakeholders from corporates, governments, NGOs, and academia alongside the international climate negotiations at COP26, COP27 and COP28.
Alicia brings a wealth of project management and stakeholder engagement experience to Perspectives. As a consultant, she is actively supporting projects and reasearch on mitigation strategies and carbon markets.
With a background in political science (B.A) specialised in sustainable development and a degree in Environmental Governance (M.Sc.), Alicia has strong methodological, analytical and research skills. She is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is fluent in English and German with a good knowledge of Spanish and French.
