Gaps and Needs Analysis to support the development of a long-term climate strategy for the Kingdom of Bahrain
Delivered for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
The Kingdom of Bahrain aimed to develop and implement a long-term climate strategy (LTS) to effectively achieve its climate targets. This LTS served as a roadmap for addressing climate change and was accompanied by the design and implementation of a Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) system. The main goal of this project was to develop a comprehensive Gaps and Needs Analysis, resulting in concrete recommendations for the development of an LTS as well as of an MRV system.
