Hydrogen for Net Zero Initiative
The overall goal of this initiative is to act as a multi-stakeholder platform with the aim to develop methodologies for hydrogen projects in different segments of the carbon markets in order to unlock the potential of carbon finance for green hydrogen projects. In a first step, Perspectives in collaboration with SouthPole will develop carbon market methodologies for the two biggest standard setters Verra and GoldStandard. In a later phase those methodologies will be transferred to the Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. The methodology development will be based on real life projects of out industry partners. Additionally, the initiative will elaborate briefings and white papers for our members covering topics like other potential instruments & standards – e.g. Guarantees of Origin, regional/national compliances schemes, etc.
