Technical support for the COP28 Presidency
Delivered for UAE Climate Change Special Envoy (OSECC).
The assignment
The objective of this project was to provide flexible support to the UAE's delegation for COP27 in Egypt, SB58 and outlook on COP28, with the goal of helping the UAE become a thought leader and bridge-builder in UNFCCC negotiations. The support ranged from high-level strategic guidance to in-depth analysis of technical and implementation aspects, covering areas such as adaptation, mitigation, GST, climate finance, carbon markets, and transparency.
